Conviction Set Aside

After a jury trial, defendant was convicted of second degree murder and was sentenced to 15-40 years. Ms. Connolly represented him on post conviction relief. As a result of her advocacy, the prosecutor agreed to set aside the murder conviction and defendant plead to one count of voluntary manslaughter with a sentence of 8-20 years.
